Zoe Gilby – “Pannonica”, Thursday 23 May. Performing compositions from the legendary pianist and composer, Thelonious Monk and inspired by the 1988 Carmen McRae album “Carmen Sings Monk”. Zoe Gilby’s unique vocal phrasing and appreciation of Monk and McRae’s work will be the highlight of this concert. Food & drink from 7.15pm and jazz from 8pm. Guildford Cricket Pavilion, GU1 4RP.
