Puttenham Camping Barn
The Camping Barn provides simple, wardened accommodation - similar to, but more basic than a youth hostel. It is ideally located, being situated on the North Downs Way and the now=open Sustrans cycle route 22, between Guildford and Farnham at a point not served by any Youth Hostels.
We open at Easter and then weekends from April to October; also weekdays for a long period in the Summer. Always feel free to contact us if you want to stay at other times. Booking is essential; refer to the booking page to ensure that there are vacancies on the dates you hope to stay. In addition to the sleeping area there is also a communal kitchen and a shower-room. The barn does cater for people with disabilities
This wonderful old listed building has been sympathetically restored to be environmentally friendly. We have rainwater harvesting, solar electricity and solar hot water. The restoration we have carried out enables you to see traditional and sustainable construction methods. A cycle storage shed is available.
