Eating out in Compton

The Withies can be found down Withies Lane. It is a 16th Century building, thought to have been a couple of cottages, many years ago.

It is now a fabulous, quaint and rather famous old eating haunt. People travel quite some distance to wine and dine here, so booking is recommended.

In the summer it is possible to eat outside, under the shelter of the trees. In the evening you may either dine by candle light or by the light from the moon and the stars and the odd lantern, if you prefer an alfresco approach.
